I’m looking for recommendations on a clone ECU programming tool that offers the broadest possible support for reading and writing ECU maps via OBD2 and bench/boot modes—without requiring the ECU to be opened. 

My current setup includes KESS 2, MPPS, KTAG, PCMFlash with Openport, and Scanmatik 2 Pro. 

Most of them work fine, but I’m not up to date with the latest clone equipment, so I’m not aware of what’s currently the most advanced and practical.

I’d like to know if there’s any device that provides even wider vehicle and ECU coverage.

I have following situation:
I want to upgrade EIS from W203 with 2 working keys (call it EIS ori) to a used one with a newer partno.(because of more coding-options). The used EIS with newer partnumber has one working key(call it EIS newer).

I have VVDI MB Tool with obd-adapters to work on bench.
Please tell mich which is the correct way to "clone" the EIS - maybe without to use of token.
It would be nice to still use the 2 working keys from "EIS ori" on the "EIS newer" if possible.
Also I dont want to do a soldering work for this car.
Tell me if Im wrong or do a fault

Option 1)
Read the "EIS ori" via OBD(or IR?) on car and get the keypassword via password calculation. 
Then insert the key pass in EIS Section and save the EIS file.
Create and save Key Files ?


Plug in "EIS newer" to OBD Bench cable and load the "EIS ori" file and write to it. (maybe renew before ?)
Dont know if this works because different partnumbers  Qw306

Or its only needed to read keypass for the "EIS newer" and then learn new BE Keys ?

Or virgin the "EIS newer" and try to do installation via MB StarDiag DAS on car to learn the 2 keys from "EIS ori" ?

Or are there other possibilities with this equipment ?
