Hi 

I have Nissan Almera 2003 with petrol engine , need immo off . Ecu from it is Hitachi MEC32-220  C1 2829 . 
Any one have solution ?

Since i saw that here are some debates about who's tool is better, i decided to share this story with you guys.

Few days ago my Galletto broke, it can't read or write in BDM mode... As i had work to do, i rememered that Xprog have function to read EDC16 in BDM mode so i have experimented with one ecu that i had lying around my desk... First of all, it has a bit more complicated wiring diagram compared to galletto, and you need to choose what you want to read. The software automatically detects flash and eeprom type and reads it ok, but much slower than Galletto. I also tried to write data back to ECU, it was ok. Or i thought so, because i didn't test that ecu on the car...
Yesterday  I did dpf+egr off with help from a friend, and since i like to backup everything, i did BDM read using Xprog. Everything was fine until i tried to write modded file... Wiriting was ok,but when Xprog tried to verify written data, error comes out! Ok, tried to write and read again few times until i got written data identical to the source file, because Xprog reported few write errors. After comparing and no differences found, I tought that everything is ok... But it's not ok! There is one detail that i knew from before: Xprog doesn't calculate checksum,and i was prepared for that with calculated file. A friend suggested that i try to write file again with my old MPPS or VCP...
This morning as always, i tried to read data through OBD with VCP, it won't read. Tried with MPPS, still nothing. So i decided to play Russian roulette and tried to write with MPPS... It wrote it OK and car started...
The moral of the story is:
There is no perfect tool, every tool is good for something and bad for something else. Always have a plan B(or tool B).

I have problems reading ecu edc17c59 from opel astra with micro Tc1767 I'm using clone ktag and opt gpt protocol, everything is well connected but it tells me connection error, check the connections, the machine makes attempts to read but in vain I have commented which can be for version 2.23 that uses version 2.22, this is true? I have seen a video that feeds the ktag to 13.7 volts instead of 12-12.5 can someone help me? You can read with fgtech galletto I have been told no, you will ask me for a code for the gpt
