Hi!
I ha in a Nisan Qashqai J10 an EGR problem.
The DTC in the ECU is P0488.

Checked:
- for shortening of the wiring ( no shortenings )
- for bad contact in the wiring ( no bad contact )
- the resistance of the DC motor in the EGR is around 5-7Ohm ( should be in a good condition )
- The reference voltage to the EGR position sensor is 5V related to GND
- The measured EGR position voltage from the position sensor to the ECU when the EGR valve is closed 
  position is 0.35V ( a bit low would I say, should be around 0.7-1V or? )
- The measured EGR position voltage from the position sensor to the ECU when the EGR valve is full opened
  position is 4.25V ( sould be correct )
- The DC motor control voltage ws tested with scope too, and the PWM signal is clear and present.
- The EGR valve is nice and shine and moves very good without any kind of noticable problem from closed to 
   opened position.
  Tested by hand and with powering the motor too.
  Moves very smooth.

The DTC P0488 is still present after clearing too.

Any idea what could cos the problem?

I know the best way would be to EGR off but I'm also interested of the root of the problem.

hi , to all i got this a4 2,0 170cv ppd1,3 with dpfoff problem.

here original and my mod (dpf+egr)
car is ok, but on dash when turn on car show dpf figure

no regenereation , no limp mode all ok,but dpf picture on dash

when car caming to me,got same picture, i reset dpf with vag-com and other tester, but not gone.

also after dpfoff not gone.tried also drive around 100km with dpfprexure disconnected but nothing

can you check and help me,please

This is a good and inexpensive programmer, but the layout of the software is crap, foolish and old-fashioned TNR fonts and in a very small window.

That is just my opinion .

That's why I did some changes in the latest version v6.60.

It is still ORIGINAL SW because I have changed ONLY fonts  to a more modern look and I ONLY increased size of window(about 1.5x), but now it look like much better (in my personal opinion)

It just need to unpack and copy the .exe file to the existing folder where is installed Software of Minipro TL866 programmer.

This version is entirely free for all members of this forum.

New version of software V6.60 can be downloaded from official web site!
In attachment you can see how look like NEW look and if you like you can download changed .exe file freely.
